This is a full-stack app, not a static template — it needs a server and database to actually run, not something you can just open or drop onto any static host.

What you'll need to run it:

  • Node.js 20 or newer
  • A PostgreSQL database (a free Neon account works, or self-hosted)
  • A Linux server/VPS for production -- your own laptop is fine for trying it out first
  • Comfortable running a few terminal commands (npm ci, npx prisma migrate deploy, npm run build)
  • A second always-running background process alongside the app itself (npm run poll) for payment confirmations and other scheduled jobs
  • A domain name for production use
